At Berning Diesel Repair LLC, we believe in quality work and small-town service.

Founded in 2017 by Trevor Berning, our shop is built on years of hands-on diesel experience and a commitment to keeping trucks and equipment running at their best.

 

After studying Diesel Technology at Iowa Lakes and working as a diesel mechanic for several years, Trevor started Berning Diesel to bring top-tier repairs to New Ulm, Minnesota. With two skilled mechanics by his side, the team ensures every job is done with precision and care.

Trevor and his wife, Erin, live in Grogan, a small community outside of New Ulm. They’re both active in their community and serve on the local fire department, always ready to lend a helping hand. Trevor also stays involved with his alma mater, serving on the board for the Diesel Technology program to help improve training and placing students in careers.​

 

When they’re not working, Trevor and Erin enjoy time with their dogs—Daisy, Rado and Moose. If you stop by the shop, you might even catch Moose lounging around, keeping an eye on things!​​
